It is rather phenomenal that we have not only made it through life thus far, but recently also survived the experience of a pandemic, fire, catastrophic loss, and political divide. 

We are the class who were also first challenged by a new concept: "Educational Integration."

We were bussed to schools outside of our normal neighborhoods to embark on a historical vision.

We began that experience as strangers in Junior High School, and ended years later as friends--graduating High School together--all in the name of a uniting spirit.

As we come together again to celebrate--let us remember all we've risked and become in lieu of anything that stood in our way. We led by example and were presented with an opportunity that hopefully impacted generations of students to follow.

In honor of this spirit, if you know of any classmate who is currently experiencing loss, illness or hardship, please let us know. We do not want anyone to miss out on this social event if we can help make it possible for them to attend.
