It is rather phenomenal that we have not only made it through life thus far, but recently also survived the experience of a pandemic, devastating fires, other catastrophic losses, and political divide in our nation. 

We are also the first class that was challenged by a new and unprecedented concept: "Educational Integration."

We were bussed to schools outside of our normal neighborhoods to embark on a historic vision.

We began that experience as strangers in Junior High School, and years later, graduated High School together as friends--all in the name of a uniting spirit.

Now, as we come together again to celebrate--let us remember all we've risked and become, despite the challenges that stood in our way. We led by example; we were presented with an opportunity to impact generations of students to follow, and we hope to have done so.

To honor what we proudly thought of as "The Spirit of '76", if you know of any classmate who is currently experiencing loss, illness or hardship, please let us know. We do not want anyone to miss out on this social event if we can help make it possible for them to attend.
